| The Porsche
993 RSR Turbo / GT2 below is owned by AB Mälarverken Racing and I
will drive it this season in the SLC Endurance 3h Cup (Sweden's counterpart
to the international FIA GT Championship), together with Mårten Samuelsson
(team owner) and Håkan Hall (former gocart combatant to Gabriele
Tarquini, among others). Each race is TV broadcasted in a 30-minute magazine
on the Viasat Sport channel. |

| I have always
liked sportscars and sportscar racing, and especially the 24 hours of Le
Mans, which is my greatest career goal (to race there). Therefore it feels
really good to be able to develop my talents further by racing a car like
this, and hopefully I´ll be able to join the team for one or more
international events after the Swedish racing-season of 2004 has ended. |
My nearest
aims are:
1. Win the
SLC 3h Endurance races.
2. Get a race-seat
for the Zandvoort 500 in October. |

| We have now
been to the Gothenburg Motorshow, February 19-22nd, to give the public,
as well as press and sponsors, a chance to take a closer look at the car
and parts of the team. |

| We have also
done our first shake-down and test at Mantorp Park today, April 8th, which
went really well. I know the track very well, and I have raced and won
in a Porsche (964 RS) before, in 2001, so it didn´t take me more
than six laps to be on pace, as well as put in the fastest lap of the day.
With this done, I and the other drivers (Håkan and Mårten)
sort of just accumulated laps on old tires, to really get to know the car,
and make sure everything was ok with the car. |

| Coming up
now is the SLC Endurance 3h season premiere at Gelleråsen, Karlskoga
on april 24th, which we are really seeing forward to. You´ll find
a race report here on my website a few days after the race is run. See
you then! |
