2007-05-06:
International Man of Mystery?
| Well, you
could almost think so, but it´s not the case - my plan for this year
is clear as could be and for those who haven´t figured it out already
my focus, together with Champion Spark Plugs, is solely on international
GT racing.
Now or never, it is time to go all in and head out on the
international scene - my Long Beach visit was just one piece to that puzzle. |

from the Long Beach visit! |
| At this moment
I´m in the middle of preparations for one of the best all-Swedish
efforts that has been made for the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. The race
is run June 9-10 and until then I´ll get back to you frequently with
details about the Porsche 911 GT3 RS I´ll be racing, the team, my
co-drivers and my personal preparations for the race. |
| Added to this
I keep following my good ol´ agenda all the way. The road to my goals
have always been clear and long term; to build my experience and maximize
results with what prerequisites available, it´s my nature. This now
leads to racing in among others the US, which has been in my scope for
a long time. Detailed planning is already underway and promises an exciting
future this year, but first of all my focus is on the 24 Hours of Nürburgring!
In 2006 I had a top ten car, this year a top five car; more than 450 hp
in a super fast Porsche 911 GT3 RS and support from Porsche Motorsport
at the track. We´re gonna be seriously quick this year, believe me. |

we were flying at the Nürburgring, having the speed for an overall
top ten finish out of 225 cars. For this year we´ll push even harder
with a Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Photo: J. Merkle. |
